7th - 10th June 2019 - Wales

Having delayed our trip to the USA we find a spare weekend so Julie sticks a pin in the proverbial map and comes up with Betws-y-Coed in North Wales. Booking.com later and we have a reservation at Mary Court B&B. Could not have been better. Lovely location, found some nice walks including up to the waterfalls, spent a day circumnavigating Anglesey and a day going up and down Snowdon. We did cheat a little on this and took the train up before walking down. Difficult enough walking just the one way with some fairly serious steep areas. Also managed to meet up with Julie's cousin, Helen, and here partner Des, who don't live too far away. A really great weekend all round.

12th June - Yvonne's Funeral and Wake

Not really the best reason to meet up with all the family. Unfortunately Yvonne died on the 26th May which was the reason for our delayed trip. Apart from the sadness it was the chance to tie up again with Ron's family.

We arrived in Phoenix, US, Friday 14th June and the trip diaries can be found HERE.
