August to December 2022

We arrived back in the UK after our American RV trip on 21st July for a week or so before returning to Cyprus early August.

23rd/24th/25th September - Polygon Hash Away Weekend

This was held at the Kaplica Beach Hotel in Northern Cyprus. Music by James Smile on the Friday evening was brilliant. Hash on the Saturday morning turned out quite long, 7km for the walkers and 9.5km for the runners. Well done hares. Great fancy dress party and games on the Saturday evening. A shortish recovery walk on the Sunday morning with a drinks stop by the small harbour. A few returned along the rocks by the sea.

7th/8th/9th October - Agios Fotios Camping Weekend

The weekend started with lunch at Aphrodite Rock Brewery in Tsada. A large group enjoyed lunch before heading to their B and B's or to put up their tents. 8 tents in all this year and 34 people. The run on the Saturday was a surprise for the runners as Julie set a 'one way' trail with a coolbox full of drinks after 8km and then organised a lift back. Sunday recovery walk consited of a group walking the longs trail and others wandering down to the old village and back.
